Why advisors choose IFG

The same offerings everyone advertises. A very different operating system.

Every broker-dealer claims "great support" and "advisor-first." Here's how we actually deliver it — measurably, and in writing.

The four pillars

What "advisor-first" actually means at IFG.

1

Support that's named, not ticketed

You have a transition lead, a service lead, and a compliance lead — by name, on your first day. No generic queue.

2

Technology that's integrated, not bolted on

CRM, planning, portfolio, billing, and the client portal share one identity layer. One login. One source of truth.

3

Compliance that ships, not stalls

Median ad-approval time under 36 hours. Pre-approved templates for paid social, VSL, and email.

4

Economics that respect the advisor

Top-decile payout. Transparent platform fees. No revenue-share gotchas on third-party managers.

Our story

Built by advisors, on purpose.

IFG was founded by advisors who'd been frustrated by their broker-dealers — too slow, too political, too distant. Three decades later we've stayed independent and privately held, on purpose. No private equity overlords. No quarterly shareholder pressure.

The advisor is the customer. That's still the org chart.

Mission & values

What we won't compromise on.

  • Integrity. If we can't say it in front of an advisor, we don't say it.
  • Balance. Independence is the goal, not workaholism. We help you build a practice that lets you live.
  • Independence. Your book, your team, your model. We're the platform — you're the practice.
Community

Independent doesn't have to mean alone.

Two national conferences

Spring growth conference and fall advisor summit. Real curriculum, real peers, real practice deep-dives.

Regional huddles

Quarterly, in-person, by region. Small groups of advisors trading what's actually working in their books.

The IFG network

An always-on community of advisors — for case consults, vendor reviews, and "has anyone seen this?" moments.
